A Trip to Goa to Sightsee the City with My Tourist Friends!
I had to take a couple of tourists from Bangalore to Goa for sightseeing a couple of key places there. I booked tickets from Bangalore to Goa on train. The booking was done by me through the IRCTC website, which made the ticket purchase process simple and easy.

Journey Was On the Majestic Yesvantpur Junction Vasco Express
I looked into the Bangalore to Goa trains in the IRCTC site to find which one was suitable for my needs. After some searching, tickets were booked on the Yesvantpur Junction Vasco Express. The train left the Yesvantpur Junction in the afternoon and arrived at the Vasco De Gama Station in Goa early in the morning.
The 15 hours journey was comfortable and I purchased refreshments while on board for all the travelers coming along on the trip. After the train stopped at the station, we took a van to the hotel where accommodation was booked.

Our accommodation was in a simple two-star hotel which offered basic facilities needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We were provide with spacious room that included television, attached bath, hair dryer etc.
After we all had unpack and stacked our clothes into the wardrobe provided, we decided to have breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant, after which we got together to discuss about the places that we were going toe visited on the three day stay in Goa.
The Dudhsagar Falls Was an Inspiring Sight
Dudhsagar Falls is a fabulous sight as the water gushes down the mountains with such force. This is a four tier waterfall and it is located right between Goa and Karnataka state. The area surrounding the falls is thick forests which feature abundant wild life.

The best time to visit this place is during the monsoon season, when rains add additional force to the falls making it look fabulous.
These falls are one of the tallest in the country. I got a close look at the falls by booking a taxi provided by the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife sanctuary. The taxi took me to across the heavy forested area where I got to see such natural greenery and beauty. I could also see beautiful streams on the way to the falls. When I reached the falls, I was able to get a complete view of it, enjoying it beauty to the fullest extent.
Visiting the Basilica of Born Jesus Was a Transforming Experience
This beautiful basilica is the perfect example of baroque architecture and is a stunning structure. It is also a UNSCO world heritage site and St. Francis Xavier’s mortals remain are still in it.
Sightseeing across the Arambol Beach
Arambol Beach is a beautiful place to visit primarily because of the beauty of the beaches waters and the kind of sporting opportunities that can be enjoyed here. I opted for swimming and diving, but you can also take up boat rides, go para sailing etc.

The street that runs parallel to the beach has restaurants and lots of shops where you can buy decor items, handicraft pieces and eateries where you can enjoy eating delicious sea food. The shacks in the beach are used for meditation and conducting yoga classes. I participated in one of them with the tourist who came along and got to do some basic yoga exercises which I felt will help me back at home.
